Portland Area Pet Care Company Names New AOR

Castor & Pollux Natural PetWorks has chosen StruckAxiom–with offices in Salt Lake City, Portland, Los Angeles and New York City–as its Agency of Record to handle national advertising duties, for their portfolio of organic and natural pet food, products and accessories.

Todd Martin, VP of Marketing at C&P, says, “We recognized StruckAxiom’s expertise in creating innovative marketing for super premium brands. They very simply ‘got us’ and we quickly knew we had found the right fit, as we continue to help ‘Pet Parents’ make healthy decisions for their four legged family members.”

StruckAxiom will collaborate with C&P to develop brand and digital strategy, and create an integrated campaign that engages consumers and grows its family of brands.

Here is some old work from the Clackamas, Oregon-based brand:

When I announced this account win earlier today on Twitter, Ian Schafer of Deep Focus replied, “Face. Off.” Which makes me think Deep Focus has its own premium pet care brand to promote, but I don’t see one among their list of clients.

[UPDATE] Schafer clarified his point this morning. The twins in the movie Face Off were named Castor and Pollux.
