Steak-umm is frying minds and taking names on Twitter.
Not everyone is impressed, but I am.
media literacy in the internet age is incredibly difficult to develop. you have to navigate special interest groups, trolls, ads, conspiracies, fake accounts, satire, sensationalism, and beyond, in order to find credible source material and relevant experts buried under the mess

The meat sheet just gave a Twitter Masterclass in media literacy.
Why would a packaged good behave this way on a social media platform? The obvious answer is in the brand’s Tweets—they want to be of service to their customers and fans.
The meat sheet also just admitted that social is a sea of debris. Here’s more on that front:
troll: your personified twitter ads are manipulative and damaging to society
steak-umm: ok so what should we do
troll: just post what the product is
steak-umm: ok “hey everybody buy our frozen beef sheets”
troll: NO THAT’S TOO SELF AWARE AND META IT’S JUST AS BAD

By adopting a newly focused brand voice for our infested times, the meat sheet transcends from its lonely place in the freezer aisle to something bigger and better.
While the Adverati bemoan brand purpose until their lips turn blue, brand managers with a clue don’t listen to anyone but the customer.
Also, Steam-umm did not just one day reinvent itself for a Twitter audience. The helpful gene is part of the brand’s DNA strand.

Burger King Is the New Home School Helper
If you thought the meat sheet’s take on media culture was odd, BK is dropping science, math, history, and literature on our heads.
day 6 of student offers: LITERATURE. if you just type this quote into the search bar, that counts as cheating and we hope some of you have a conscience.
