Adages, the Ad Age blahg, is reporting that Mullenites will soon struggle to find and pay for parking just like everyone else in downtown Boston.
The 420 employees of Mullen’s corporate headquarters will soon be giving up the mansion and the cookbooks and their quirky outsider status. That’s because executives from the Interpublic agency announced plans to move its headquarters from their 50-acre mansion in sleepy, suburban Wenham to a brand spankin’ new building in downtown Boston come June 2009.
I like it when agencies post up in quirky digs. And no matter how much money is spent on interior design, a high rise is a high rise is a high rise.
This really is a shame. The Mullen HQ in Wenham is not only “quirky,” but also beautiful…and haunted!
I mean, how do you leave that behind?
