But clearly, the Volvo XC60 isn’t for that kind of rat racer. It’s for the soulful surfer who bravely paddles into the unknown in order to feel something bigger and more powerful than herself. She gets right with herself in the ocean, and returns to land a better person, more able to be loved and to give love.

The new spot was shot in Durban, South Africa. Forty six year old Cape Town resident and experienced surfer Lisette Forsyth appears in the campaign.
