People love to look at cars and let their imaginations take them on fuel-injected trips.
Thankfully, car entusiasts have a plethora of images to peep on social platforms like Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. According to Digiday, “the strategy for Volvo on Instagram is simple: show off car models and their unique features.”
I like the boldness in product forward advertising. People don’t want friends, they want cars!
Of course, hand-picked images from the brand team are only one side of the social coin. Volvo agency Cake Group is promoting a new hashtag #VolvoLove, which sprung from how people on Instagram were tagging photos of their Volvos.
Forgot to post this today. @deslarmes finally got her car back. She missed him so much. #Howie #VolvoLove instagr.am/p/TKwcUWuOKc/

BTW, we’re continuing to speak in and act upon #hashtags today. How easily we assimiliate.
