Spotlight On NW Creative: PDX Is Feeling Lucky

Ad man about town, Jerry Ketel, invited me to join a group of Google Fiber supporters at Hopworks Urban Brewery last week for the launch of Gigabit IPA. Alas, I could not make it at the 2:00 hour, but it’s an interesting and oh so Portland way to get one’s point across. It’s almost too Portland (whatever that means), but I like the idea of beer as media.

About David Burn

I wrote my first ad for a political candidate when I was 17 years old. She won her race and I felt the seductive power of advertising for the first time. Today—after working for seven agencies in five states—I am now head of brand strategy and creative direction at Bonehook in Portland, Oregon.
