Critics of advertising love to drone on about how much people hate advertising. I say as much in this forum on a regular basis. But here is new research from Australia that refutes this basic premise.
In case you didn’t click through the slide show, it says on Slide 7 that 30% of respondents “love advertising” and find it “fun and entertaining.” Another 30% said they “like advertising” when it’s relevant to their needs or interests. Only 4% “hate advertising.”
The survey was given to over 18,000 13- to 18-year old Habbo Australia users in April of this year. Habbo is a virtual world, like Second Life.
