I am fortunate to meet interesting people care of my work here at AdPulp. Can I tell you a story about one such reader turned friend and colleague?
Charlie Quirk is a Larkin Sandgroper, a.k.a. a man from Western Australia. He plays Aussie Rules Football, drinks beer and tells off-color jokes. He’s also making his way in the ad business, in a big way. Yesterday, the U of O alum and veteran of several agencies in Portland and Seattle, started work at Commonwealth/McCann in Detroit as head of strategy on Chevy.
The ad grunt has arrived. He is now a mad man.
Naturally, I have questions for Quirk about his new job. For instance, what kind of Chevy does he intend to drive?
Personally, I favor the Impala.
