Republican’s anti-ACA proposal would take healthcare away from 24 million Americans, cause premiums to skyrocket, and destroy the fundamental underpinnings of the Medicaid system.
SEIU 1199 New England is not taking the proposed cuts lightly. The labor group’s new commercial created by Metro Square Media features a Korean War veteran asking us to fight for him.
“The latest Republican plan would transfer $880 million from healthcare to tax breaks for the wealthy and take away coverage from 24 million people,” said SEIU 1199 spokesperson Jennifer Schneider. “Roger fought for his country and should not have to have to fight the President and Republicans to stay in the only home he knows.”
