Congrats to the awesome Noelle Weaver and the rest of the folks at Shepardson Stern + Kaminsky for landing a big fish, as Adweek reports, SS+K has taken the Delta airlines account.
Delta, though, is facing bankruptcy and a possible strike, so things won’t be easy. Not to mention a marketing brain drain that has left the advertising in tatters: BBDO in Atlanta had the Delta account for about 50 years until 1997 or so, when it went to Saatchi. And then to Leo Burnett. And then to an ill-fated stint at Atlanta’s Brighthouse. And then to Ogilvy & Mather. Or something like that.
By the way, I’m flying Delta in about 6 hours from now, so I’m rooting for them to live.

Danny – thanks heartily for the congrats… kudos + credit need to go to the entire SS+K team as each and every employee put their heart into winning this one. It’s great when the agency has that much passion. Hope your flight went well….
