    How is AKQA missing from that list?
    And, in all fairness, Barbarian does a lot of production company-esque roles. From what I’ve heard, agency goes to them with vision, Barbarian does treatments, tweaks are made, stuff goes into production. Sounds a lot like agency/director/producer relationships to me.
    Now, that being said, what I’ve heard could be wrong.

    @Yikes/Vince: I’ve used Barbarian Group for exactly the type of services Yikes outlines (project got killed, but that was their function in the creative process.) I gathered that was their MO. Vince- do you know otherwise?
    @Yikes – the article specifically mentions that they excluded AKQA on purpose.

    If you know what Crayon actually does Steve, you are one up on me.
    They do seem to get a lot of press though; that’s why I said I was surprised they weren’t on the list.
