Women for the Win is a woman-led coalition of media professionals who are dedicated to getting more women elected to public office.
Women for the Win takes volunteer creative talent from the advertising and entertainment industries and pairs them with high-profile candidates running in local, state, and federal elections across the country. These partnerships result in premium and compelling videos that campaigns can share with voters.
The organization currently has over 1000 active volunteers and is working with female Congressional candidates from nearly every state in America. Candidates like Cori Bush from Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.
Bush is a progressive activist, nurse, mother, and passionate leader. In the primary, Bush beat a 10-term incumbent for his seat representing MO-01 in Congress. Although it was a primary race, Bush’s win essentially guarantees her a seat in Congress representing the heavily Democratic St. Louis area.
Amanda Stuck Runs for Wisconsin
Amanda Stuck is compelled to serve the people of Wisconsin because she can relate to the everyday struggles they face. She grew up in a working-class family in Appleton, Wisconsin, and at 19 she was a single mother working two jobs to put herself through college.
“Amanda’s message is the core of what being a representative in the U.S. should be about: making sure you are a champion for every single one of your constituents, not just yourself,” adds Jessalyn Haefele, the Creative Lead on the project.
“My hope is that we elect more leaders like her who truly care about the people in their district and see working as a representative for what it truly is — public service — and not personal gain.”
Born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, Amanda Stuck has Represented District 57 in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2015.
