Win A Free Pass To WebVisions 2011, The Odds Are In Your Favor

What are you doing next week? Do you want to attend WebVisions, the conference that explores the future of the Web and mobile from May 25-27, 2011 in Portland, Oregon?

You can still register for the conference. You can also help to promote the conference on your blog, on Facebook and on Twitter. For your efforts, you will be entered to win a free pass to the conference. If you already have your pass but still want to participate in this promotion, you can always assign your pass (should you win one) to a colleague.

So here’s the deal…to help spread the word about WebVisions 2011, please write a post on your blog detailing why you’d like to attend. After you make the post, go to WebVisions’ Facebook page, “Like” it and post a link to your article on the WebVisions Wall. If you do not have a blog, you can still enter by making your case directly on the WebVisions Wall. Remember the idea is to create some talk value, so please come up with a compelling appeal and then use Twitter, Facebook and whatever other means you can think of to spur commentary.

Particpants who meet the terms will be selected at random to receive a free conference pass. Five passes will be awarded. The first ten participants will receive a free copy of Douglas Rushkoff’s book Program or Be Programmed: Ten Commands for a Digital Age. And a number of workshops will be offered for most creative post, most retweets and most blog and/or Facebook comments.
