Self-Promo Contest Leads Winners To Self-Congratulation Festival

Bridge Worldwide in Cincinnati has a Burning Question for you: Are you a Marketing Revolutionist?
If you are, and you enter Bridge’s Burning Question contest, you could win a trip to Cannes for the 2010 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

We want to bring two people who are just as passionate about changing marketing as we are — but who might not have the resources to get there on their own. We are looking for people who have had success in making change at their organizations, and have taken steps to share their lessons with the broader marketing world. We invite people who work at big or small companies, people who have shared lessons on blogs or classrooms, and people who have worked in marketing for one year or a lifetime.

In order to be considered, participants must submit compelling answers to these two Burning Questions: What needs to be improved in the Marketing industry? And what are you doing to improve the Marketing industry?
I suppose I ought to answer their questions, but a trip to Cannes isn’t exactly a trip I’ve been longing to make. This trip is another story entirely.

About David Burn

I wrote my first ad for a political candidate when I was 17 years old. She won her race and I felt the seductive power of advertising for the first time. Today—after working for seven agencies in five states—I am head of brand strategy and creative at Bonehook in Portland, Oregon.
