Is the GOP on the verge of collapse? I doubt it, but there are obvious signs of decay, including the fact that a substantial chunk of Republican primary and caucus voters told pollsters that they would be so dissatisfied if Donald Trump became the party’s presidential nominee—and it looks like he will—that they would not vote for him in November’s general election.
In related news, The New York Times is reporting that a Republican Super PAC is prepared to spend $50M to help defeat Trump.
The Super PAC’s ‘Republican Voters Against Trump’ website currently features 100 videos of plainspoken Republican voters talking about why they voted for Mr. Trump in 2016 or 2020 and why they will not do so again in 2024.

Testify!
According to the Super PAC’s leader, Sarah Longwell, the personal testimonial style has proven far more successful in focus groups at cleaving Trump voters away from him than traditional attack advertising that contrasts Mr. Trump with Mr. Biden.
