The struggle for human rights is a daily reality for people with disabilities. Sadly, people with disabilities are not widely recognized for their contributions to society and the multiple gifts they bring to the people in their lives.
The National Down Syndrome Society and Saatchi NY are working to fix this.
To mark NDSS’s 40th anniversary, the organization partnered with the ad agency to challenge the limitations imposed on people with Down syndrome.
The new video is a follow up to last year’s Law Syndrome launch, which propelled legislation to reform the complex and misguided laws that hinder the Down syndrome community.
This new iteration of the campaign focuses on the accomplishments of those with Down syndrome and how they have consistently defied society’s expectations.
