“What has our government become?” asks billionaire environmental activist and former hedge fund manager, Tom Steyer.
Great question.
Styer makes a case for Impeachment with the following truth: “Today people in Congress and his own administration know this president is a clear and present danger who is mentally unstable and armed with nuclear weapons. And they do nothing.”
A handful of members of Congress, including Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Sherman Oaks, have tried to push forward articles of impeachment against Trump but found little traction so far. This may change, as a poll taken in August found that 60 percent of California voters believe it would be better for the United States if Trump left office before the end of his first term.
Ah, California. Is it a state or a nation-state? With the world’s sixth largest economy, the answer is obvious. What California wants, California gets (more or less). In other words, money equals power and California and the wealthy people who live there have both.
According to Los Angeles Times, Steyer spent more than $91 million to support the campaigns of Democratic candidates during the 2016 election.
Now, Steyer, is putting $10-million behind this new “Impeachment” ad blitz.
It won’t be long before the Tweeter-in-Chief gets wind of this. Maybe he will coin a new term, “fake advertising.”
