The All New RAM 1500—Built To Serve Texans And Other Hard-Working Americans

May 17, 2018 By David Burn

In the advertising business, we love to talk about the “brand promise.” In theory, every brand has one.

Take RAM Trucks. RAM is devoted to hard work and performance in every aspect of life — family, neighbors, community, and career.

Let’s see if these values come screaming through in the new commercial for the 2019 RAM 1500.

The spot is intense and serious like the work people do to shape this nation. I like the way the copy beats the American worker’s drum. It is a commercial for a work truck.

By the way, more pickup trucks are sold in Texas each year than in California, Florida, and Oklahoma combined.

According to KUT, one-fourth of all new vehicles sold in Texas are pickup trucks. Texas is so dominant in Truck sales that auto companies sometimes divide their national marketing into North, East, West, and Texas.
