Finding a dog-friendly friend to walk and/or watch Fido while you’re away from home can be difficult. That’s where Rover.com, the nation’s largest network of 5-star pet sitters and dog walkers, can be of assistance.
The company’s network of pet sitters has grown nearly 90% over the past year, now topping more than 200,000 in the U.S. Rover is also the market leader in dog walking with more than 130,000 dog walkers in thousands of cities across the country.
“Pet parents know walks are important to dogs’ health and happiness. In a recent survey we found that while the majority of owners see walks as a reflection of how much they love their dog, 57 percent skip walks each week,” said Halle Hutchison, VP of Marketing at Rover.
A service is booked on Rover.com every four seconds. Yet, dogs are not being walked. This is both a shame and a marketplace opportunity.
To motivate compassionate care, Pereira O’Dell, the ad agency on the account since April 2017, put some pep into the dog walkers’ steps. Set to DJ Unk’s hit song “Walk It Out,” the commercial clearly demonstrates how happy people and pets can be when they’re outside getting some exercise together.
