To prepare for the big fish, Oberto’s CEO Tom Hernquist and marketing director Mike Ginal flew from their headquarters in Kent, Washington to South Africa, where they had the chance to live test a new product idea in the wild—Oberto Shark Bait.
The protein-enriched results speak for themselves…
The spot was conceived and directed by Court Crandall of Positivity. Crandall was formerly partner at Wong Doody and before that a founder of Ground Zero. He is also one of the few working ad guys with a growing stack of film industry credits.
Unfortunately, his industry experience didn’t alleviate the crew’s sea sickness off the coast of Gansbaai, the Great White capital of the wold. Director of Photography Daron Keet had to get the shot, and a bucket.
