When You’re In Mobile, It’s Only Natural To Go Mobile

One of the more innovative agencies out there is Red Square Agency in Mobile, Alabama. If you’ve ever worked in a small market like Mobile, you know it’s a bit harder to attract great talent and draw buzz. But Red Square is defying that convention, and seems committed to putting itself on the ad map.

Their latest initiative promises to be another leap forward for them and their hometown. They’re launching GoMo, an initiative with Google to provide local businesses with mobile-optimized websites and other tools.

The press release has more:

As part of project “GoMo,” Mobilize Mobile is dedicated to helping businesses “go mobile” by providing them with the tools and resources they need to make their websites more mobile-friendly. On the GoMo website, businesses can see how their sites look on a mobile device using the GoMoMeter tool and get personalized recommendations for creating a more mobile-friendly experience. The site also has information on current mobile trends and mobile-site best practices, as well as a list of developers ready to help companies build their mobile sites.

What’s cool here is not just that Red Square and Google get to team up, but local businesses can get more sales with better mobile sites. And that makes the agency really valuable to the community. Are you in a smaller market with an agency doing innovative things? Let us know. We love to highlight them.
