Vagina, Vagina, Vagina … There, Kotex Said It

Who wants to work on diapers? Or tampons? No one, right?

This may be changing, thanks to a brave new campaign from Kimberly-Clark and Organic and O&M.

In this new effort from the Kotex brand, young ladies are encouraged to speak freely about their vaginas and ask vagina-related questions. Sans stigma.

There’s an element of humor here–which is good–but it’s also a serious topic and the brand is clearly serious about raising the bar and encouraging healthy discourse.

About her period, Aline Sibomana, one of the activists featured in the work, says, “It’s not rainbows and butterflies.” I like the plain spoken honesty.
