Turn Yourself Into A Game, Says Rose

IFC is streaming live interviews from its Crossroads House at SXSW.

Frank Rose of Wired.com and author of Art of Immersion sat for one such interview.

I’m not sure who the interviewer is here, but I am sure that he upstages Rose.

Speaking of gaming, ReadWriteWeb has an interesting piece about how game mechanics will solve global warming. SCVNGR CEO Seth Priebatsch said from the SouthBy stage yesterday, “The last decade was the decade of social. The framework for the social layer is now built, it’s called Facebook.”

“The game layer is the next decade of human technological interaction,” he explained. “Unlike the social layer, which traffics in connections, the game layer traffics in influence.

I’m not sure what he means, but I like the sound of his thinking.
