Spotlight On NW Creative: Evergreen Wings & Waves

Next Monday, Evergreen Wings & Waves Waterpark opens in McMinnville, Oregon. Wings & Waves is educational waterpark that features 10 waterslides, a wave pool and a children’s museum dedicated to teaching students about the power of water.

Admission for the waterpark is $25 for children 42 inches and under, or $30 for over 42 inches. A waterpark museum ticket is $15, if you’re not swimming.

I understand that Wieden + Kennedy made these spots. Which is cool. I’m sure it was a fun project for them. But since when does W+K take on local accounts? Leave some crumbs on the table, guys.

I think it was W+K 12. Their ad school. They’ve done local work like this before, I think for Wordstock.

Ah, well that makes sense then. Thanks for the lowdown!
