Sony’s Got The Directions, So Sing, Sing A Song…

Sony’s Singing in the Car campaign relies on consumers vetted by a contest, not actors, in the following spot to promote the nav-u, a vehicle navigation system.

According to Japan Trends, the nav-u has all the usual map and GPS functions, plus live updates on traffic and congestion. It can also be taken in and out of the vehicle, and has pedestrian and cyclist modes to guide you when you are on the move (but not in a car).”

About David Burn

I wrote my first ad for a local political candidate when I was 17. She went on to win her race, and I felt the power of persuasive copy for the first time. Starting in Portland in 1995, I worked my way across the country as a copywriter and eventually became a content director making media products for big packaged goods brands. I returned to Oregon in 2008, and now I focus on building brands for companies that matter, including this one.
