The Minneapolis Star-Tribune has a nice roundup of new business wins and news for Twin Cities ad agencies, such as Risdall Marketing Group, Olson, Periscope, Mono, and Colle + McVoy.
Here’s just a sample:
New business at Minneapolis-based Periscope also is all about food. The agency just added the Red Robin restaurant chain, gas-grill giant Char-Broil and Gold’n Plump Poultry to its client list. Colorado-based Red Robin has 430 restaurants. Georgia-based Char-Broil is carried by big-box retailers like Lowe’s and Home Depot. Gold’n Plump is based in Minnesota with 250 family farmers in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Olson this month announced two new national clients — Kraftmaid cabinetry and Red Kap work clothes. Forty-year-old Kraftmaid is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of semicustom cabinetry. Tennessee-based Red Kap is part of the family that sells Wrangler, Lee and the North Face brands, among others.
Good stuff. And you don’t read much about wins like this in Adweek or Ad Age anymore.
