Shish Kabobs For All

Jeremiah Owyang has some excellent advise for writers who publish on the web.

Research indicates that people who read online tend to skim content, rather than read work for work, line by line.
I encourage bloggers to write in the style of ‘Shish Kabob’, rather than writing in the style of the ‘Steak’.
Cut up your meat for your readers, make it easy to read.

About David Burn

I wrote my first ad for a local political candidate when I was 17 (she went on to win her race, and I felt the power of persuasive copy for the first time). Today, I live near Portland, Oregon and spend my days building brands for companies that matter.
