Apple says the release of its new podcast-enabled iTunes 4.9 has led to over 1 million podcast subscriptions in just two days.

For what it’s worth, we think our subscribers doubled overnight when 4.9 came out. We think. Our bandwidth moved liked crazy, even if you think people were downloading old episodes….iTunes made podcasting real.
