Out Of Home, In Mind

Last Friday, Minneapolis agency, Gabriel deGrood Bendt, won a Gold OBIE Award in the Video Content Media category for its “Get to the Bottom of It” digital campaign for St. Paul-based Summit Brewing Company.

“The campaign invites Summit beer drinkers to finish their pints and get to the bottom of life’s quirks and quandaries,” said Doug deGrood, Creative Director and partner of GdB.

GdB was also nominated for client Black Forest Inn. The campaign for Black Forest Inn was a finalist in the Food and Restaurants category. This was the fourth time GdB has been nominated for its work with Black Forest Inn, resulting in a Silver OBIE win in 2003.

I love the line, “We don’t tweet. We prefer Alphorn.” Black Forest Inn and its agency deserve some hardware for that.
