Macy’s Has No Pride

Consumerist reports that Macy’s in Boston, under pressure from a conservative group, has removed two male mannequins, one wearing a rainbow flag. The display was meant to support Boston Pride, a nine-day gay pride event.

    why do companies continue to make these displays of support for the gay community, only to crumble like a house of cards at the first sign of oppostion. are they so stupid as to not anticipate any backlash?
