It’s really damn good.

  1. I believe Nike wants you to play soccer, so they can sell you the gear.
Interestingly, I was just talking to a dad about which sports his under five kids want to play, and he said anything they want to play is fine, but he hopes they don’t choose soccer.

  2. Mr. G,
It’s called futbol. And I’m not so sure about that spot. I’m not a fan of the Eisensteinian cut.

  3. Well Ms.D, with all due respect to Bob Hoffman, today you are the ad contrarian judging by the reactions on the internets. Now I’m gonna have to Google “Eisensteinian cut.”

  4. One of those reaction, Dan’s talking about: http://twitter.com/adrianho/status/14431900129

  5. Jason Wright says:

Would love to know how many different locations that was shot in. And how many different principals. I’m sure there have been more expensive commercials, but since big-budget spots are few and far between these days, this one seems really big.

  6. Mr. G,
P.S. Can’t wait for your visit!
