It’s Not A Lie, It’s Just A Convenient Fabrication (How Do Pols Sleep At Night?)

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

Will the Republican nominee for President of the United States say anything and do anything to win? Of course, and he’s not the first man to lie and cheat his way to the top, nor will he be the last.

Honestly, I’m not that interested in the psychology of male dominance. What does interest me greatly, is the consistent use of the media to distort, confuse and control.

Take a look at this nonsense (straight from Karl Rove’s playbook):

Thankfully, The Plain Dealer Editorial Board ain’t having it. “It’s a masterpiece of misdirection,” they wrote in a piece titled, “Flailing in Ohio, Romney rolls out Jeep ploy.”

According to The Detroit News, Chrysler issued a statement flatly denying it has any plans to move Jeep output to China from the United States.

UPDATE: Here’s a response ad from the President’s re-election team:

  1. Italians Own Detroit! Pleeease. You know its tough out there when you have to point out that ITALIANS bought Chrysler (that’s FIAT, by the way.) Well, they do make a decent lasagna.

By the way, from USA Today: 4:47PM EDT October 29. 2012 – Chrysler Group said today that its profit in the third quarter zoomed 80% to $381 million from $212 million a year ago.
