I Am 100% Serious About This Lack of Seriousness

I don’t know what digital work Lars Bastholm and crew are recognizing with a Lion at Cannes this week. But I do know a site that deserves an award. Big time!

Let me share some of the site’s pithy copy (and advice for Social Media Douchebags everywhere):

  • Tip #425: Always include “Social Media Guru” in your Twitter bio. They won’t know unless you tell them!
  • Tip #128: Always tweet in all-caps. BECAUSE CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE-CONTROL FOR AWESOME!
  • Tip #864: It’s not SPAM, it’s advice people didn’t know they needed until YOU came along!
  • Tip #666: All links should point to your own tinyurl service which promotes your site first. YOU are the expert, remember!

I seriously doubt any copy at Cannes this year can stand up to that.
