Brands need YouTube content and advertising, but where do they turn to procure this modern form of communications currency?
Ad agencies are changing, but few have crossed the bridge from making TV for a passive audience to making video for an active, empowered audience.
One way to find a video provider is to discover who is behind YouTube advertising sensations like Orabrush. As it happens, Orabrush’s brilliant video work is done in-house.
The good news is the in-house creators are now for hire. Orabrush has spun off its online video marketing business as an independent company to be known as Molio. The Salt Lake City-based company launches with $3 million in Series A funding led by Greycroft Partners with additional participation from True Ventures, Subtraction Capital, Advancit Capital and Peak Ventures.
Molio’s video brand-building model has already produced two multi-million dollar online brands of its own with the Orabrush tongue cleaner and the Orapup dog breath brush.
“Molio is set to transform video marketing by enabling brand building and product launch qualification in a disruptive way,” said Dana Settle, co-founder and partner of Greycroft.
