No, it’s not Biff and Muffy’s new home. It’s a pop up retail with a preppy twist.
According to Showbiz-i, Tommy Hilfiger, in a collaboration with Preppy Handbook author Lisa Birnbach, have built an 800 square foot traveling beach cottage which will serve as a pop up retail store.
The cottage debuts next month in Manhattan. It will then pop up in Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Tokyo, Madrid and Belgium–because foreign cultures long to be exposed to old school New England values (as interpreted by a fashion brand, like Ralph Lauren, with no real roots in that world).
