Ford agency-of-record, Team Detroit, tapped into a diverse talent pool that includes creative shop Mutt Industries and acclaimed surf-movie director, Chris Malloy, to create the new, 2011 campaign for Ford entitled, “Go. Do.”
“We always like collaborating with great minds and Mutt brought enormous energy and enthusiasm to this,” said Toby Barlow, Chief Creative Officer of Team Detroit. “We hope we get a chance to play with them again before Honda or VW goes and makes them their agency of record.”
“Go. Do.” marks the directorial debut of Chris Malloy in the advertising arena. Previously, Malloy directed several surf classics, including the film 180 degrees South, released in 2010 by Magnolia Pictures.
