Vital Voices, a leading non-governmental organization, identifies, invests in and brings visibility to extraordinary women leaders around the world.
This film tells the story of Kakenya Ntaiya, and how she has used her “vital voice” to change the lives of girls growing up in her native village in Kenya.
The video was produced by YouTube Video Volunteers, which matches social change groups with filmmakers who are passionate about their cause. Each month, a different issue of importance to the YouTube community is featured.
