Are You Ready To Be “Captured By The Country”?

Direct and director Matilda Brown of The Colony recently completed three new spots for New South Wales Tourism.

The whimsically styled commercials feature two young actresses having unforgettable adventures in New South Wales. I don’t know if romance was the original intent here, but the end result looks a lot like a love affair.

Using the slogan “Captured by the Country,” the advertisements strive to appeal to a youthful market and encourage young Australians to explore their own backyard.

The soundtrack, “Gimme Sympathy” by Metric, also has a starring role in this campaign.
