Subway Now is a pilot text messaging program now underway in Manhattan. We need to see much more of this kind of thing. Text is the language a lot of young people speak, so it's imperative for brands that appeal to them to also talk text.

Finally! This has been wanted for a very long time...
it's just what we all needed. Thank you Obama!
Texting is a language young people speak, but speedy service and eliminating long lines during a jam packed lunch hour is something that all consumers speak. This is a great example of a brand recognizing the full extent of the consumer experience and the various inputs that can enhance that experience. This is also fantastic as it is a simple tactic to test, iterate and scope, which is what the best brands are doing, using tactics as strategy.
I like texting!
