I'd go even further. Make what you want about what this says about me, buy my first impression was that it depicted a homosexual liaison; a 'batsman' stepping up to the plate and the 'receiver' assuming the position.

Really shaky ground for a government department to take - even in the best of times, the populace is quick to conclude it's being (ahem) shafted.

Even better, this is what an official spokesperson for the OGC had to say on the subject;

"The proposed version, which you have sent over, has been shared with staff, and is now going through final technical stages. It is true that it caused a few titters among some staff when viewed on its side, but on consideration we concluded that the effect was generic to the particular combination of the letters 'OGC' - and is not inappropriate to an organisation that's looking to have a firm grip on government spend"
