Sometimes You're Just Trying To Slip One Past The Client...

Like some bored copywriter did with this Spirit Airlines e-mail blast.

I laughed.

Anyone ever try to pull something like this on an unsuspecting client?

In advertising design class at Utah State I got a new professor to think that a proposed Sony portable video camera would be the called The Seeman (after the walkman)

When I was working at a business magazine I accidentally produced an ad proclaiming a law firms expertise in "Initial Pubic Offerings."

This made me laugh, which is hard to do at 9am with only 4 hours of sleep. I know if I saw the site that would be the first ting I looked at.

something tells me the client was not unaware of this. I mean. c'mon. Did you see the ads? They focused on an island that looked like a lounging naked woman, before zooming out and showing a whole system of islands. Not accidental if you ask me.

Spirit Airlines actually does stuff like this all the time. LAst year they had a "Mullett" promotion-Business in front, Party in back.
