Spotlight on NW Creative is one of my favorite AdPulp features to write because it’s focused on what’s real to me now, namely my location in Portland, Oregon. I understand that AdPulp reaches a global audience, but that doesn’t negate the need for local coverage. In fact, I’d love to add more local coverage to [...]
The Year In AdPulp: Words, Words And More Words
It’s the end of the year. I ought to be toiling away on year-end posts like “AdPulp’s 10 Best Commericals of 2010,” or “AdPulp’s 10 Best Content Marketing Campaigns of 2010,” or “AdPulp’s 10 Best Social Media Marketing Campaigns of 2010,” and so on. Spotlight on NW Creative: Funko Bobbleheads
One man’s schwag is another man’s prized collectible. Such is the case with the miniature toy replicas of famous people, whimsically known as bobbleheads. The campaign features real Match users on real dates, filmed with reality-TV production company Picture Shack Entertainment.

This Flab Busting Breakthrough Is So Bad It’s Almost Good
Tis’ the season for list making. Like best and worst commercial of the year. My friend and former colleague, Sloane Kelley, finds the following commercial particularly annoying. How about you? What spots from 2010 really got under your skin? [via BFG Blog] UPDATE: Speaking of year-end lists, Steve Hall at Adrants is compiling some highly [...]
